Get ready for the ultimate craft beer experience in downtown Hong Kong. Over three days, The Hoppening will showcase the best local and international breweries, offering an unrivalled selection of craft beers – from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts. 

At PMQ in Central, The Hoppening will feature over 60 beers, food and live entertainment. At centre stage, The Hoppening Bar highlights over 30 unique and new pours and old favourites from some of the best breweries. Guests will be able to learn more about the breweries and learn more from beer experts. 

The event will take place in three sections across the weekend. Early-bird tickets are now priced from $120, including one beer, a Hoppening cup, a Coozie to keep your drink cold and Happy Hour pricing for the first two hours.

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Half Marathon 2023

For fitness enthusiasts

Get your running shoes ready! Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates​ has announced the first Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Half Marathon 2023 in partnership with the Bank of China (Hong Kong). 

This will be the first half marathon on the world’s longest sea-crossing bridge and tunnel. With a total length of over 55 kilometres, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge connects Hong Kong, Macao, and Zhuhai in Guangdong province. 

The distance of the half marathon is about 21.1 kilometres, starting from the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and returning to the same place. Along the way, participants will run along the Hong Kong Link Road of the bridge and take in the scenery of the Hong Kong International Airport. 

The race is open to runners aged 16 and over. Prize money is available in competitive categories—entry fee of $500 for local participants. Click here to register from now until August 6.

Better With Beer

Brought to you by the founders of Clockenflap, Better With Beer is a two-day festival showcasing the best of Hong Kong’s buzzing craft brewing scene.

The event will feature over 150 beers from over 20 breweries and distributors. As well as all manner of tasty brews, the festival will feature live music, food outlets and a selection of outdoor games. 

The first group of brewers and distributors includes Brews Over Borders, Carbon Brews, Heroes Beer Co, H.K. Lovecraft, Hong Kong Beer Co, MiMi Beer, Moonzen Brewery, Owlsome Brothers, Young Master Brewery, HIGHERTHAN by Young Master, and Yardley Brothers, more added soon. Early-bird tickets are on sale now priced from $400, which includes unlimited free-flow beer.

S2O Hong Kong

For party animals

The first-ever S2O Hong Kong will take place later this month. Thailand’s S2O Songkran Music Festival is an annual wet and wild festival combining Thai cultural customs with high-energy electronic dance and pop music. 

The traditional Thai festival of Songkran inspires the festival, celebrated every April with water splashing to symbolically wash away bad luck and welcome the Thai New Year. Tickets are available here priced from $1,180 for a one-day pass, open to over 18’s only.
