Paddington Bear Takes Over The Langham, Hong Kong

Calling all Paddington fans (and their parents!) The Langham, Hong Kong, has recently launched a staycation in partnership with Britain’s most famous bear.

Conceptualised by British-born writer Michael Bond over 65 years ago, the kind and polite Paddington Bear has rocked up at the hotel and been given a new duffle coat in The Langham’s signature pink to celebrate his arrival.

Families are invited to enjoy a stay in luxury surroundings complete with Paddington experiences and amenities from now until the end of the year when Paddington will, sadly, head back home. 

The Playtime with Paddington staycation, priced from $2,730, includes one night in a Paddington-themed room for two adults and one child, room set-up with Paddington pillowcases, bed runners, cushion covers, a teepee tent and a selection of gifts such as a Paddington plush bear, a bone china mug and children’s bathrobes and slippers. 

Guests can enjoy add-ons such as dinner at American-style deli Main St. Deli and buffet breakfast at The Food Gallery, as well as a variety of exclusive Paddington-branded gifts such as a porcelain dinner set ($600) and a children’s raincoat in pink ($180). 

Playtime with Paddington stays are available to book until December 31, with a stay period until the end of the year. 

When the stay is over, guests are kindly reminded to, ‘Please take care of this bear’.
