Amongst its wide variety of art classes, Bonart hosts a few calligraphy workshops. The copperplate calligraphy workshop includes a calligraphy starter kit. Attendees can learn the essential basics of pen holders, nibs, papers and ink before working with basic strokes. Kalo Make Art

Kalo is a classically trained calligrapher based in Hong Kong who hosts calligraphy workshops in dip or brush pen. The dip pen class is a three-hour workshop focusing on basic techniques, brush strokes and how to write an alphabet. You can also learn techniques on how to draw bamboo with a pointed nib to create your own fai chun. Each class includes material to take home and continue the craft. One of Hong Kong’s leading pottery studios, Two Parts Studio has two locations in Tai Koo and San Po Kong. Half Corner Studio

Across its two studios in Causeway Bay and Kwai Fong, Half Corner Studio organises pottery workshops for adults and children of all levels. Opened Monday through Saturday, the instructors will teach beginners how to prepare clay and use different hand-building techniques, starting from pinching, coiling to slab building.
