Ocean Park launches summer programme for children
Ocean Park’s Summer Adventure series has returned, calling for little adventurers as young as 18 months old to enjoy an array of educational programmes and unforgettable animal encounters.
All-new adventures for children of 18 to 35 months old
For the first time ever, the Park has extended the Summer Adventure series to include tiny adventurers of 18 to 35 months old. Parents and their little ones can now explore the wonders of nature together. They will become Animal Antics and learn about manta rays through creating their own costume, watching the feeding demonstration, and more.
Mini-rangers aged 4 to 5
Mini-rangers aged 4 to 5 can join Team Detective to learn about penguins through mini-games, art and craft activities, and feeding sessions during a three-hour programme. They can also sign up for three consecutive half-days with Team Chef to prepare meals for spotted seals and The Grand Aquarium’s residents.
Rovers aged 6 to 8
Rovers aged 6 to 8 can sign up for the League of Animal Trivia as oceanic adventurers. Join Team Adventurer, complete tasks with team members, prepare food for sea lions and coral fish, and learn about them in a one-day programme. Alternatively, join Team Scientist for fascinating scientific experiments with different marine animals on two consecutive days.
All-new water adventures for children aged 9 to 11
Water activities have also been introduced for the first time for voyagers aged 9 to 11 at Team Aqua. Tweens will venture beyond Ocean Park to Tai Shue Wan and Sai Kung for kayaking and snorkelling experiences. After spending an exotic night in The Grand Aquarium uncovering the mysteries of the marine world, voyagers will create an AI drawing to present their three-day exploration experience.
The programme will run throughout the summer until September with prices starting at $450. For more information, visit the website.
