What’s on in Hong Kong in May 2024

From Hong Kong’s favourite craft beer festival to an enchanting and captivating rendition of Swan Lake, these are the best things happening this month.

The Hoppening

This popular festival will showcase craft beers from over 30 breweries worldwide, and the best part is that entry is free.

The Hoppening is a great opportunity for both beer enthusiasts and newcomers to explore a curated selection of beers from around the globe. The PMQ courtyard will be transformed into The Hoppening Beer Garden, providing a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a freshly poured beer, live music, and games like cornhole and jenga.

With double the number of vendors compared to last year, attendees can sample beers from various countries, including England, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Scotland, South Korea, and the USA.  For non-beer lovers, Taboocha, Neon, and Mezzanine Makers will offer alternative beverage options. To satisfy hunger, the food options have been expanded to include BBQ (Big Pink), Spanish tapas (Diverxu), pizza (Sonny’s) and Kati Rolls (Bengal Brothers).
