The Cambridge Summer Programme at CDNIS
In collaboration with Canadian International School of Hong Kong
For its summer programme, Canadian International School of Hong Kong (CDNIS) has collaborated with several academics from Cambridge University over the last decade. Over time, this collaboration has quickly established itself as a highly sought-after summer school opportunity for many teenagers in Hong Kong and abroad.
This summer, 12 instructors from one of the world’s top universities will once again share their knowledge as part of the 2022 CDNIS Cambridge Summer Programme. Participants don’t have to be students at CDNIS – these online courses are open to any student between the ages of 15 to 18. From July 25-29 from 3pm-5pm and 6pm- 8pm HKT, students can choose from 24 courses specialising in Engineering, Humanities, Law, Maths, Medicine, Science and Technology.
The 10-hour courses are priced at $4500 per course and are taught by current University of Cambridge academic staff. Courses are equivalent to a near 1st Year University of Cambridge level, giving students a head start into university life and studies. All students will receive a certificate and an invitation to attend an exclusive online Cambridge admissions talk on Saturday, July 30.
“We are the only high school in the entire world – not just Hong Kong – that offers a programme fully taught by Cambridge instructors. Class sizes are small so students will get a lot of close personal time with the professors,” says Dove Noel, CDNIS’ after-school activities manager. “It’s truly unique in the world of summer school options.”
Registration will open on April 11, 2022. Details, including an entire list of courses being offered and how to register, can be found on CDNIS’ website. Courses will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis and are limited to a maximum of 20 students.
