Michelin Guide announces 2022 stars for Hong Kong & Macau – full list
Find out who topped the list this yearFor the second year, the Michelin Star Revelation ceremony was held virtually via live streaming on its official Facebook page and YouTube channel. The 2022 edition of the Guide features 71 starred restaurants in Hong Kong and 15 starred restaurants in Macau. Among them, 11 are new additions or promotion to the starred list.
Highlights include Octavium and Yan Toh Heen promoted to two Michelin stars; the newly crowned one-star restaurants include Belon, Hansik Goo, I M Teppanyaki & Wine, Sushi Wadatsumi, Whey, Chaat, Mono, Seventh Son and Yong Fu; the three-star list remains unchanged: Caprice, Forum, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Lung King Heen, 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana, Sushi Shikon and T’ang Court retain their titles.
Lastly, a total of three Green Star restaurants are recognised for delivering culinary excellence with outstanding eco-friendly commitments. Most notable is the addition of Amber, together with Roganic and the IFTM Educational Restaurant in Macau, both of which have maintained their Michelin Green Star distinctions this year.
