Hong Kong Ballet presents The Wizard of Oz
Kick off your weekend with the Asian premiere of Septime Webre’s The Wizard of Oz by Hong Kong Ballet! From August 30 to September 1, the Grand Theatre at Hong Kong Cultural Centre transforms into a fantastical world where classic meets cutting-edge. Think punk rock munchkins, a disco Emerald City, and jaw-dropping holographic effects that pull you right into Dorothy’s whirlwind journey. The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra will be there to add a live musical score that will sweep you off your feet. Tickets are selling fast at URBTIX—don’t miss out!
Interactive Arts Tech Exhibitions
If you’re a fan of blending reality with a bit of magic, head to the Oz Life Journey exhibition at AIRSIDE mall until September 4. Here, dancers become avatars, your movements control neon light displays, and MR and VR tech will make you question what’s real and what’s not! Prefer something more classic? The An Arts Tech Emerald City exhibition at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, running from August 16 to September 1, is perfect for all ages. Walk through a virtual twister and uncover the secrets of the Emerald City—just don’t forget your AR glasses!
Regent Hong Kong’s Wizard of Oz-Inspired Afternoon Tea

From now until October 13, indulge in a Wizard of Oz-inspired afternoon tea that’s as enchanting as it is delicious.
