Hebe Haven Yacht Club

This friendly Sai Kung-based club is ideal for boating, yacht racing and watersports enthusiasts. Hebe Haven Yacht Club offers easy access to some of Hong Kong’s best sailing waters and beaches. It actively promotes youth sailing at its Sail Training Centre and runs regular sailing courses for adults too. The club has a busy racing calendar, notably hosting an annual 24-hour charity dinghy race and Hong Kong’s biggest summer regatta, the Typhoon Series.

The club prides itself on its friendliness to new joiners and relatively reasonable rates for facilities compared to other boat clubs such as Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club or the Aberdeen Boat Club. So if you’re not a fan of overly formal environments, Hebe could be the best option for you.
