Twin Peaks and Violet Hill
Get your quads, hamstrings and calves ready for the biggest stair climb of your life! As you ascend, the sun starts to disappear behind the vegetation which will definitely cool you down. The hike passes through Tai Tam Country Park on Wilson Trail alongside Deep Water Bay, Repulse Bay, and finally ends at Stanley. Make sure to stop every now and then not only to take a breather but also to take in the amazing view.
Dragons Back, Shek O
This is a classic Hong Kong hike for locals and visitors. Dragon’s Back is the perfect hike for scenic views, a relaxing stroll and lunch at Big Wave Bay. The hike starts just before Shek O. After a 20-minute climb, you’ll find yourself on the Shek O Peninsula Viewing Point overlooking the beach. From here the winding trails are relatively flat with a few uphill and downhill sections inspiring the hike’s iconic name.

Rhino Rock
The Rhino rock hike is a very short trail in Stanley that is less than 1-kilometre each way. Rhino Rock is definitely one of Hong Kong’s most impressive rock formations as it is very obviously in the shape of a rhinoceros. The hike itself is quite easy but make sure you keep an eye out for some of the ribbons that are laid out throughout the trail just to stay on track. Halfway through your walk, head straight towards Violet Hill, before turning left at a dam where you will find plenty of big fish to feed. The hike will lead you towards Stanley where you can enjoy your afternoon with a slap-up lunch.
