A 45-minute recital, led by French-Swiss Principal Conductor Joseph Bastian, will be followed by a sumptuous five-course set dinner. Tickets to One Enchanted Evening at Felix are available for $1,888 per person.
The performance, which will begin at 7 pm, will also feature German-born Soprano Lydia Teuscher, who has performed on major stages throughout the world and collaborated with esteemed conductors such as René Jacobs, Jonathan Cohen, Emmanuelle Haïm, Sir Roger Norrington, Helmuth Rilling, and Markus Stenz.
The musically diverse programme will include Mozart’s overture from The Abduction from the Seraglio; Zequinha de Abreu’s lively “Tico-Tico no Fubá”; Villa-Lobos’ evocative Bachianas Brasileiras No.5; Steve Reich’s rhythmic masterpiece “Clapping Music”; Ennio Morricone’s haunting “Gabriel’s Oboe”; and Hoagy Carmichael’s timeless classic “Stardust.”
