Hong Kong Players Present: Dick Whittington, THE PANTO

Panto season is almost upon us. “Oh no, it isn’t…” “Oh yes, it is!”

Hong Kong Player’s pantos have become a staple in Hong Kong’s festive calendar. This year’s panto, their 62nd consecutive festive show, promises to be the best one yet! Did you know that the group has performed a festive show every year since 1961, even going online with ‘Going Viral‘ in 2020?

This holiday season, they return to The Shouson Theatre with the purr-fect Christmas panto. Join Dick Whittington and his cool cat, Tom, as they seek their fortune in London with a bit of help (or hindrance) from Dick’s Aunt Fanny! Dick Whittington soon discovers that London’s streets aren’t paved with gold but overrun with rodents.

Expect a spectacular festive show packed with sparkling songs from a live band, dynamic dances, glittering costumes and larger-than-life characters, with lots of audience participation. It’s a show to entertain adults and kids alike!
