The Hong Kong Island Coastal Trail Challenge 2022
The Hong Kong Island Coastal Trail Challenge is back with a bang! The 3rd edition of The Challenge is a charity event co-organised by three local NGOs—Designing Hong Kong, iDiscover and Parks & Trails—and powered by TrailWatch. Everyone is invited to join either the racing event or the leisure event to hike or run (parts of) the 65-km-long coastal trail loop around Hong Kong Island between December 1, 2022 and January 31, 2023.
The trail follows an iconic 65-km-long loop around Hong Kong Island divided into eight stages, walking the trail is a wonderful way to (re)discover the city’s abundant history, heritage, greenery and, of course, its scenic shores.
This edition of the challenge promises to be bigger and better with new events. Apart from prizes and gifts from sponsors, all donations at the registration stage will be used to promote country parks and nature conservation by Parks & Trails. For every five successful sign-ups referred by a company, club, organisation or KOL, The Hong Kong Island Coastal Trail Challenge donates one free entry to either a beneficiary of RUN or WISE HK.
