From campus tours and classroom visits to meeting teachers and current students, these upcoming international school open days offer families a chance to see schools in action and explore their options for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 academic years. Here are the key dates to know this October.
Harrow Little Lions Kindergarten

Norwegian International School opens the doors to its green Tai Po campus for its aptly named Open Viking Day this October. There will also be a School Information Session from 11.30am to noon, just before the Open Day begins.

Malvern College Hong Kong

Discovery Bay International School Early Years Open Day
Discover the early years experience at Discovery Bay International School (DBIS) at its upcoming Open Day on Wednesday, 7 October. Held at the school’s dedicated EYFS campus in Discovery Bay, the morning includes a campus tour, an introduction to the curriculum and learning experiences, and guidance on the admissions process. As an all-through school, DBIS offers children continuity from EYFS through Primary and Secondary. The Open Day is suitable for families considering immediate entry to FS-1 or FS-2, as well as FS-1 entry in January or August 2027.

Hong Kong Academy Exploration Day
Hong Kong Academy invites prospective families to explore its Sai Kung campus at its Exploration Day on 24 October. Families can join parent-led tours, meet faculty and school leadership, and learn more about HKA’s full IB Continuum for students from Early Childhood through Secondary School. This edition puts a particular spotlight on younger learners, with children aged 30 months to five invited to take part in a complimentary trial of The Maker’s Atelier, HKA’s new extended afternoon programme combining hands-on design, inquiry and creative problem-solving. Families can also discover the school’s approach to wellbeing and sustainability and explore its spacious, purpose-built campus between the mountains and seafront of Sai Kung.

The Harbour School

ASHK Halloween Open Day
American School Hong Kong is adding a Halloween twist to its Open Day on 31 October, inviting families to explore the campus while enjoying a programme of seasonal activities. Visitors can meet the school’s leadership team, learn more about its academic programmes and teaching philosophy, and take part in interactive activities led by faculty, alongside games and prizes. Costumes are encouraged, and attendees may also be eligible for an application fee waiver for mid-year 2026/27 entry or an August 2027 start, for applications submitted by 16 November 2026.
