Explore Hong Kong Academy: A day of discovery for families
Hong Kong Academy (HKA) is inviting families to experience its dynamic community firsthand during its Exploration Day on 1 March 2025. From 9 am to 1:30 pm, visitors can immerse themselves in the HKA experience and discover what makes this institution a leading choice for global citizens in Hong Kong. The event is free to attend and will take place at HKA’s campus in Sai Kung.
Families will have the opportunity to meet HKA’s dedicated faculty, students, and current parents, offering valuable insight into the school’s programmes, teaching philosophy, and facilities. A range of engaging activities and faculty-led workshops will be on offer for potential students, including STEM design, badminton, and a variety of co-curricular experiences.
During the morning, special sessions for different age groups will also be available:
- Playgroup Experience (2 years old): A hands-on shared learning experience for toddlers, offering a taste of HKA’s innovative Early Childhood programme.
- Early Childhood Experience (3-5 years old): Children can participate in the Little Explorers project, designed to ignite curiosity through play in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Primary School Experience (6-9 years old): Students will engage in a STEAM challenge, stimulating critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Secondary School Experience (10-16 years old): Teens will explore faculty-led workshops and co-curricular activities, with a chance to interact with current students and learn about life at HKA.
As an added bonus, attendees of this event are eligible for 2025-26 application fee waiver for applications submitted by 17 March 2025.
