La Cabane
La Cabane has curated an extremely impressive winter menu that is host to three seasonal cheese dishes that will surely warm you up. Choose between the raclette with either roasted vegetable ($170) or Serrano ham ($180), its tartiflette with reblochon cheese ($180) or the whole Mont d’Or served with baguette or baked potatoes ($490). Make sure to take advantage of its great value-for-money lunch deal ($140) and their impressive selection of natural wines.

BEDU
Sample nine of the best of the Middle-Eastern dishes with this festive menu ($420) at BEDU. Start off with hummus, as every Middle-Eastern meal should, before exploring new flavours and ingredients. It will have creative dishes like grapefruit tabbouleh, salt baked potato and a baklava rice pudding. Try some of its signature cocktails that again feature unique flavours such as lavender infused gin and green and peppermint tea cordials.

Hue Dining
Hue Dining is running a weekday festive set lunch (starting from $288) throughout December that has plenty of options. Start off with a pumpkin soup or prawn cocktail before filling up on pork belly, confit turkey leg or market fish. Finish your meal with festive desserts like trifle or vanilla ice cream with a cherry compote. Diners who prefer some savouriness can even choose from a range of seasonal cheeses. If those options weren’t enough, Hue also hosts a festive afternoon tea ($680 for two) and festive brunch ($400) perfect for any winter day.

Poem

Head to The Upper House before it closes for it’s festive artisanal cheese and wine pop-up, c’est cheese. Yung’s Bistro
Put an Asian spin on your Christmas meal this winter at Yung’s Bistro. Offering a menu to feed four, it’s the perfect place to embark on a culinary adventure to try some of the best dishes out there. Start of with iconic steamed shrimp dumplings ($46) and barbecue pork ($200) before trading in turkey for a goose leg ($290). Seafood dishes like pan-fried prawn with salted egg yolk and vegetables topped with crabmeat are a contemporary take on the classics. Soil to Soul
‘World Master Chef’ chef, Gu Jin Kwang, puts a contemporary spin on plant-based ingredients to create an eight-course menu ($888) inspired by ancient Korean ‘temple food’. Start of with the restaurant’s most popular dish, sweet and spicy mushroom, before trying their new festive starter of asparagus kimchi. There are four main courses from Korean radish dumpling, braised tofu skin, zucchini noodles and five vegetable rice. Celebrate Christmas in true Korean style with traditional soju or Korean rice wine.

Teakha
For the breakfast and pastry lovers, this one is for you. Teakha has created a festive menu available till January 6. Its take on gingerbread will swoon any brunch lover with their gingerbread orange pancakes ($188). Festive flavour desserts include a white Christmas green tea cheesecake ($58) or a basque burnt cheesecake with apple cinnamon ($62). Pair the seasonal masala ($68) or chocolate ginger scone ($36) with one their holiday teas for the perfect winter pick me up.

Beef & Liberty
This month is for indulging and a big, greasy burger will do just that. Head to one of Beef & Liberty’s venues for its monthly specials. Start with the sweet baby cheesus ($139), its Scottish beef patty burger that has both blue and brie cheese. It pays a tribute to Christmas with the addition of cranberry sauce and onion jam. Finish with the warm Christmas cookie and cream that has a hint of spices, dark chocolate and raisins.
