Over the Easter holidays, The Lobby at Island Shangri-La will serve an Easter-themed afternoon tea menu with mini croissant sandwiches and ham crostinis and Easter-themed highlights of sweet rabbit, created with Dak Lak 60% crunch and coconut cream in an airy chocolate puff and chocolate paradise, featuring cocoa nibs crunch, cocoa jelly, and creamy chocolate mousse. On March 30-31, Mr. Mad Hatter and his fantastical band of friends will pop in and out of the Lobby Lounge for surprise visits, playful tricks, theatrical performances, and photo opportunities.

Season of Blossoms 

The Peninsula Boutique & Café celebrates the arrival of Spring with a special Seasons of Blossoms afternoon tea accompanied by a delightful floral arrangement workshop on select dates in April. Guests can indulge in a delectable selection of sweet and savoury treats while an expert florist guides them through creating a mini floral arrangement featuring gorgeous blooms in the boutique’s seasonal collection.

Children’s Afternoon Tea at 181 

Round up the little bunnies and treat them to a Children’s Afternoon Tea at 181 Fortnum’s over the Easter weekend. Kids will love the top plate with chocolate lollipops shaped as chicks, coconut flake bird’s nests filled with easter eggs and classic jammy dodgers.

Floral Bliss Afternoon Tea

The Verandah’s refined setting beautifully complements the abundant spring bounty, while the Floral Bliss Afternoon Tea is dressed to impress. An Instagrammable tiered tower of delicacies is adorned with edible blooms and even an intricate marzipan butterfly, accompanied by delicate savouries such as Boston lobster seaweed tart with fennel and Kristal caviar, duck foie gras terrine with fig jam and toasted brioche, and egg mimosa tortilla roulade with crème fraîche and keta caviar. 

Luscious spring-themed sweets include raspberry mousse pavlova with vanilla bean chantilly cream, fresh mango and coconut panna cotta, pastel-coloured matcha, and mascarpone cheesecake. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Verandah tea without its legendary scones alongside a dollop of clotted cream and jam.

POPPINS Afternoon Tea

Café 103 at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong has collaborated  with the popular American cookie brand, POPPINS, for the first time to launch the all-American POPPINS Afternoon Tea at Café 103. The POPPINS Afternoon Tea draws inspiration from the golden age of the 1940s and 1950s in the United States. Following this retro style, the three-tier afternoon tea stand is made from colourful vintage bowling alley lights. Guests will have the opportunity to savour POPPINS’ best-selling item, the Rocher Hazelnut Cream Pie, as well as the Pistachio Cookie.

Spring Afternoon Tea 

Clipper Lounge and Café Causette at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong will serve a Spring Afternoon Tea menu throughout March and April. The three-tiered afternoon tea includes finger sandwiches and pastries, freshly baked plain and raisin scones, and Mandarin Oriental’s signature rose petal jam and clotted cream. 

Over the Easter weekend, an egg-citing Easter-themed menu includes raspberry and green tea with a white chocolate bunny, carrot cake, and green tea sesame, topped with a mini chocolate egg.

Flowering Blossoms Afternoon Tea

The Lounge & Bar at The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong, is preparing to launch a Flowering Blossoms Afternoon Tea to celebrate the arrival of Spring. This tea set, inspired by blossoming sakura, features fresh flowers and shades of pink. Savoury items include a beetroot cream cheese tart, gammon ham sandwich, and tomato cream. Sweet options include a pistachio, raspberry flower cone, and bubblegum-pink strawberry rose mousse.

The Lounge Afternoon Tea Set 

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong guests can enjoy an Easter-themed edition of The Lounge Afternoon Tea Set by Executive Pastry Chef Ringo Chan. Indulge in hot cross buns filled with crème brulee and citrus ice cream from a live cooking station, along with a menu of sweet and savoury Easter-themed treats such as prosciutto milk buns, kumquat jam and brie, and Easter pistachio and lemon macarons. A range of Easter cakes are available on the eShop for celebrations at home.

Twinings British Sensation

The Murray Garden Lounge has launched its new Twinings British Sensation afternoon tea in collaboration with British tea brand Twinings. A range of Twinings teas are paired with a menu of sweet and savoury treats, such as truffle mushroom orangery of Lady Grey tea quiche, turkey and cheddar cheese sandwich with golden tipped English Breakfast tea jam and The London Strand Earl Grey Tea ganache chocolate cake. The menu includes strawberry scones and a trio of strawberry jam, lemon curd, clotted cream.

Sensory Blossom Afternoon Tea

Le Meridien Hong Kong, Cyberport’s Japanese restaurant Umami has collaborated with MALIN+GOETZ to present a Sensory Blossom Afternoon Tea inspired by Bergamot, one of MALIN+GOETZ’s most popular scents. Umami has created an array of Japanese savouries such as aburi ankimo with tofu salad and chicken cartilage croquettes and sweets like strawberry daifuku and strawberry mille-feuille. Guests will receive a complimentary MALIN+GOETZ gift set.
