Be immersed in hands-on science journeys: Croucher Science Week 2022

The annual event for young scientists is back in virtual format for the second year, featuring interactive activities for students and children

Croucher Science Week, jointly organised by the Croucher Foundation, The Education Bureau, and the Hong Kong Science Museum, returns in virtual format this year, bringing enthusiastic scientists and talent from around the world to present programmes that will inspire young scientists. With the vision of making science education accessible to all, event programmes will run from 23 March to 22 April 2022 and will be held online for both schools and members of the public to access for free, so that the wonders of science can be celebrated and enjoyed by all.

To inspire the public to discover science in their everyday life, this year’s flagship programmes feature four themed pillars including: Hands-on Science at Home, Food Chemistry, Magic and Science, and Global Wildlife. The programmes are interactive and are conducted through live science shows, hands-on demonstrations, outdoor tours and talks, all available in an online format using materials that can be easily found at home.
