The Lobby Lounge is hosting a lucky afternoon tea this year with its red afternoon tea set, available for dine-in and takeaway. Desserts pay homage to Chinese cuisine with an Osmanthus gold jelly, a Chinese New Year macaroon and a white chocolate sesame cheesecake. Savoury dishes include crispy suckling pig on beetroot brioche, an abalone vol-au-vent and a foie gras pearl.

Grand Hyatt

A floral-themed afternoon tea set will have Chinese New Year themed decorations through February 11 to 13. The set showcases light floral flavours with its rose profiterole with raspberry and a blueberry and violet flower cheesecake.

Scones come plain and with goji berries and you can pair with clotted cream, lemon curd or strawberry jam. Balance out the desserts with an egg mayonnaise soft roll, roast beef and cucumber sandwich and ham and gouda croissant.

Sit in front of the iconic Hong Kong skyline to welcome in the new year at Hue Dining. The Australian restaurant has taken the inspiration of the new year and will be offering the traditional savoury radish cake, lo bak go, with chorizo. Filled with auspicious ingredients like abalone and birds nest, this set is available till February 28. Sweet dishes include a red velvet cupcake, black and white sesame roll and a mango pomelo sago cream.

The Cakery is offering a vegan afternoon tea with traditional Chinese inspired desserts and bites. Start with the vegan abalone tart, turnip cake and vegetable dumpling. Traditional scones have had a remake with the addition of goji berries and red dates. Other sweet treats include a red sugar rice cake, mango chia pudding and mandarin citrus tart.
